This innovated monitoring system consists of a monitoring unit, a receivers and a wireless key. The human detection sensor in the monitoring unit installed at the doors detects wondering of the demented person. Family members keep wireless keys. The monitoring system gives signals to receivers, unless it detects wireless keys. Receivers give warning by sound and flushing light. This monitoring system support persons with dementia to enable to stay in the community or at their own home where they have lived so long, for a better quality of life.
